  • Put the rice to soak with plenty of water, this is one of the tricks to make it lose.
  • Bring the seasonings to boiling water and add the cinnamon, bay leaf and salt.
  • Wash the basmati rice well and drain to eliminate excess starch. When the water boils, add the rice to cook, stirring occasionally.
  • When reaching the desired point, remove from the heat and drain off excess water. (my basmati rice has become less loose because I like it very well cooked!)
  • Keep the cinnamon stick and bay leaves inside the basmati rice.
